Coffer Calculator

A few coffers trade sealed on the market board: attire coffers like the Coffer o' Kupos and Star Pilot set, and Paladin sword-and-shield sets. This tool checks whether buying the coffer and selling every piece beats the coffer's price on your world.

Every piece priced

Each coffer opens into a fixed set of items. Every piece is valued at its expected sale: the lowest listing on your world or your data center, whichever is lower, capped at the recent average sale. The total has the 5% market tax taken off before it's compared with the coffer's cheapest listing.

Honest about slow sellers

Glamour pieces can sit for days. Each coffer shows the sales speed of its slowest piece and flags pieces with no price at all, so a big paper profit on something nobody buys doesn't look like free gil.

FAQ

Is it worth opening attire coffers to sell the pieces in FFXIV?

Sometimes. Buyers often want one piece of a set, so the pieces can add up to more than the sealed coffer, but it depends on your world's listings. The calculator checks every tradeable coffer against live prices.

Which coffers can be sold on the market board?

Attire coffers such as the Coffer o' Kupos, Casual, Cashmere, Peacelover's, Star Pilot, Cosmosuit, Powersuit and Cosmic Operator's sets, plus the Paladin arms sets that bundle a sword and shield. Random-loot containers like treasure maps aren't included because their drop rates aren't published.
